Refunds and Returns Returns Within 3 days of receipt of your shipment (including gifts), you may return any of the following items to rfkenpo.com, for any reason, for a full refund (we'll also refund the shipping cost if the return is a result of our error): Any book in its original condition, unopened VHS video, DVD or unopened martial art supply. Please note that we can process returns and refunds only for items purchased from rfkenpo.com. We cannot exchange items unless they are defective or damaged. FOUR NEW SELF-TRAINING VIDEOS ON DVD
Over the past years Sifu Fowler has been organizing and arranging a Break Flow series based on the information in the kenpo techniques. This work has resulted in are 36 breaks from high-inside, low, inside-high, outside and low-outside. The breaks can be utilized to set up timing entries to your self defense moves. All systems can benefit from this instructional video especially in conjunction with the new Advanced Footwork video. This makes the school owners' job easier, delivering a new curriculum for every class. Seminars and certification classes are available upon request and are highly recommended by Sifu Fowler prior to teaching the Break Flow series.
The information in this video can allow you to double your speed and power with effortless flow. Carefully follow the precepts and you will be amazed how little effort it'll take to move with greater power and greater fluidity. Advanced Footwork is not for beginners. You must have a good handle on basic footwork skills before moving to these drills.
Every martial artist needs to have the ability to control an opponent or a out of hand friend without poking his eye out. Lock flow will develop your sensitivity and recognition of the 36 locks. The locks flow naturally—if one fails you move to another. This tape also works the counters and reversals for most of the locks. "I've just reviewed two of Rick Fowler's video's Break Flow and Advanced Foot work. My first comments are directed towards Mr. Fowlers demeanor while teaching what potentially could be very confusing material. Right from the beginning, he approaches the subject matter with a relaxed and confident attitude which gives the viewer the feeling of being in a class not at a lecture. Secondly, he uses an assistant sparingly, but right at the necessary times to demonstrate a particular technique with different timings to show the desired effect of the drill. To add to this, he adds "pauses" that allow the viewer to stop the video, practice, rewind, practice up to the pause again, and repeat if necessary. In my opinion, this is a great idea for those attempting to incorporate his teaching into their own training. The Advanced Foot work video was very good. I think in some ways it might be one of those skills that is often overlooked which is paying credit to the importance to basics that are so necessary to making Kenpo applicable. To me the Break Flow video should be the companion to the Advanced Footwork video. The reason is, the hand positions, the foot work, the timing changes, the application of lower body attacks, etc, really stress the footwork needed to make it all come together. All in all these are helpful and useful video's that should be in everyone's library regardless of rank or even style. The add to the martial "toolbox" which in this changing world is needed."
